Locality: USA, Texas, El Paso, East lower slope along the arroyas of the Franklin Mountains; about eight miles from El Paso toward White Sands.

Habitat: East lower slope along the arroyas of the Franklin Mts.
Substrate: Limestone soil.
Description: Infrequent today; indications show much juniper has been removed.
Notes: Map attached to sheet. Original ID: Juniperus. Also annotated as J. cf. coahuilensis (Martinez) Gaussen ex R.P. Adams by S.C. Yarborough in 1995 along with note "Sterile"; and as J. monosperma (Engelm.) Sarg. by B.H. Warnock in 1966. "monosperma (Engelm.) Sarg." is handwritten on label by Dr. Warnock.
