Habitat:
Large fen with high quality portions on eastern edge. Beautiful large Larix laricina trees shelter very diverse ribbons of fen. Large west portion is dominated by weedy species including Agrostis gigantea. Phalaris arundinacea dominates the fen/woodland interfaces. Bordered on north by creek and on south by woodland upland. Last quad of 2014!!!!!! Carex lasiocarpa dominated area; located in sedge meadow in middle of fen; common species in area include Eutrochium maculatum, Solidago altissima, Symphyotrichum firmum, Thelypteris palustris, Carex stricta, and Asclepias incarnata. Ground very hummocky; ground.
