Habitat: On gray shale. With Penstemon harbourii, Smelowskia calycina, Mertensia lanceolata, Trifolium attenuatum, Aquilegia coerulea, Erysimum capitatum.
Reproductive Condition: Veg
Notes: Original ID: Senecio fremontii T & G var. inexpectans Cronquist. [This is considered a taxon of special concern in Utah, and is not reported in FNA as occurring in Colorado. Probably this is a trivial variety. Det. W.A. Weber].
