Habitat: Rather sparse herbaceous vegetation in mimosa-dominated invasive shrubland on silty to stony soils on nearly level valley flat between slopes of Triassic rhyolite. Site burned during Rock House Fire of April 2011. Stems twining; corolla papilionaceous, pink fading to blue; forming loose mats; common.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
