Habitat: Loose red sandy soil and fine-grained gravel. Arroyo scrub of Celtis pallida, Viguiera sten., Acacia greggii, A. neovern., Prosopis glandulosa, Yucca, Dasylirion, Aloysia, Anisacanthus puberulus, Brickellia, and Opuntia. Erect annual 15 cm tall. Fls white. Common.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
