Locality: United States, Texas, Victoria, E side of RR track NE of McFaddin, near SW edge of Cypress Lake. Bloomington SW Quadrangle. Elev. 20 ft.
Habitat: Rare, local in "sandhill" herbaceous vegetation in openings in live oak - yaupon woodlands on deep, somewhat poorly drained, slightly acid loamy fine sand Arenic Albaqualfs (Fordtran Series) on Pleistocene or Holocene deposits at upper edge of floodplain on S side of Guadalupe River. Associates include Acalypha radians, Cenchrus spinifex, Chamaecrista sp., Chenopodium ambrosioides, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton capitatus, C. glandulosus, C. parksii, Cyperus sp., Digitaria texana, Diodia teres, Elyonurus tripsacoides, Eragrostis superba, Eriogonum multiflorum, Froelichia floridana, Gaillardia aestivalis, Helianthus argophyllus, H. debilis var. runyonii, Heterotheca subaxillaris, Palafoxia texana, Paspalum plicatulum, P. setaceum, Rhynchosia americana, Schizachyrium scoparium, Yucca sp. Sheet 1 of 2.
