Habitat: Disturbed, gravelly (limestone) caliche intermittent drainage in upper reach of former inundation zone; mesquite-granjeno woodland with Lindheimer pricklypear and straggler daisy. With Opuntia engelmannia var. lindheimeri, Prosopis glandulosa, Celtis pallida, and Calytocarpus vialis. Rare shrub to 1 m. Discs and rays off-white. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291.
