Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, Near Southmost, ca. 100 m. toward Rio Grande from levee. River bottom. Elev. 25 ft.
Habitat: Soft, brown clayey silt. Baccharis salicina-Leucaena-Acacia sp. complex. Tree, 13 m.; bas. diam., 1.5 m.; crown diam., 12 m. Spreading wide. Large branches paralleled with ground, twigs "weeping" very prominently. Bark gray, vertically low ridged.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
