Peninsular Range, Eastern Foot of the Santa Ana Mtns.: Temescal Canyon NW of Horsethief Canyon Rd. along DePalma Rd., SE of Glen Eden Rd. and south of the east end of Lee (Corona) Lake, south side of I-15 (Alberhill 7.5' Q). Canon bottom and slopes, rocky to loamy soil, sandstone bedrock and alluvium; chaparral and oak woodland with Quercus agrifolia, Q. berberidifolia, Artemisia californica, Malosma laurina, Salvia mellifera, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriogonum fasciculatum foliolosum, etc.
