Habitat: Soil characteristics: Corolla-Duckston sands, gently undulating, flooded (3) - moderately well drained and somewhat poorly drained soils formed in sandy sediments. Described as being a component of the Salt Marsh Ecological Community. Associate plant species: Sporobolus indicus, Cyperus surinamensis, Eupatorium capillifolium, Ilex glabra, Cyperus retrorsus, Ambrosia artemisiifolia. Uncommon.
