Habitat: Sphagnum moss/wax myrtle thicket along canal banks. Soil characteristics: Kenner Muck (KE)- very deep, very poorly drained, very slowly permeable organic soils formed in herbaceous plant remains stratified with clayey alluvium. Associate plant species: Aeschynomene indica, Ageratina altissima var. altissima, Solidago fistulosa, Myrica cerifera. Rare.
