Habitat: Wet meadow. Soil characteristics: Schriever silty clay loam (Sh)- very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey alluvium. Associated plant species: Iris giganticaerulea, Cirsium horridulum var. horridulum, Crinum bulbispermum, Carex cherokeensis, Verbena brasiliensis, Sphenopholis obtusata. Common.
