United States, Colorado, Gunnison, From Avery spur (2nd spur north of Gothic), follow road up past multiple gates and past 401 Trail intersection. Road will pass a house and then turn so that there is a meadow on the right and spruces on the left.

Meadow on a small hill close to the East River; bordered by willows; accessed by few research teams. Found on less heavily vegetated part of the hill
Near Arctostaphylos uva-ursi.
Delicate-looking highly-dissected leaves, yellow compound flowers.
