Habitat: Desert pavement with Larrea, Cylindropuntia munzii, Encelia farinosa, dead Ambrosia dumosa and little else. Most of area almost barren.
Description: Solitary perennial in shallow draw; fls. yellow. Foliage scented, ± herbal.
