Locality: Species within 100 m of Arizona Trail from Utah to Sonora.
Abstract: The Arizona National Scenic Trail is an Arizona gem, its 800 miles traversing through some of the most diverse landscapes in the Southwest from Utah to Sonora, Mexico. Desert Botanical Garden researchers started this project in 1999, with support from the Arizona Trail Association. Several rare, endemic and under-represented taxa have been documented, providing valuable data to US Forest Service and other land management agencies. It is hoped that plants will continually be documented now and in the future.
