Plant: Annual erect forb to 70 cm Leaves: leaves opposite, clasping, 3-8 mm long, narrow Flowers: flowers pinkish, 4-lobed, in axillary cymes of usually 3 or more, petals and stamens borne on the throat of the calyx Fruit: a capsule, seeds numerous.
