Leaves: alternate, 20-100(150) mm; blade >> petiole, 1-2-compound, segments obtuse to toothed, ± reduced upward
Inflorescence: cyme, generally dense, coiled, generally 1-sided; pedicels generally short
Flowers: generally subsessile; calyx lobes 3-4 mm, 4-5 mm in fruit, generally unequal, oblong to oblanceolate, densely hairy, glandular; corolla 6-9 mm, funnel- to bell-shaped, whitish to blue, deciduous, scales ovate; stamens 8-12 mm, glabrous; style 7-12 mm, glabrous
Fruit: capsule, 2-3 mm, ± spheric, puberulent; Seeds 2-4, 2-3 mm, pitted, oblong to spheric, generally brownish
