Description: Prostrate, mat-forming perennial; stems clearly dorsiventral with fleshy, green upper leaves & papery, brown lower leaves; rhizophores scattered throughout, arising from dorsal surface of stems; setae of leaf tips filamentous, tortuous, quickly deciduous; megaspores +/- 300 mu in diameter, pale yellow, obscurely rugose.
