Habitat: Steep slopes of a rich norh-facing piedmont cove hardwood forest in the Eau Clair neighborhood. Soils loose, and circumneutral draining NW to Crane Creek. Go 0.2 mi due west of the intersection of an unamed paved road and the intersection of US 215 and I-20.
Reproductive Condition: flowering
