Habitat: Collected on the east face of Anvil Mountain, moist gravelly 20% slope approximately 200 m. below the southeast summit.
Associated Species: Pedicularis, Papaver macounii, Carex, Salix
Description: Early bloomer that will flower throughout the summer under the right conditions.
