Description: Locally common, cloning, flower stalk 17 feet tall, several broken off and peeled off, apparently by bear, inflorescence down 40% of stalk; flowers with ovary dark chartreuse green, neck and tube (lower) light chartreuse-yellow, tepal lobes yellow, tips darker yellow (-brownish), not clasping, drying quickly, filaments light yellow-light chartreuse, anthers light yellow, little pollen, much nectar (4 pm), style light yellow-light chartreuse; flower measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm: tl=61, o=33x9, n=5, tu=8(h) x 10(w), outer tepal lobes 13x4(base), 1(mid), inner 13x6(base), 1.5(mid), fil ins=7.5, 8, fil=46, a=14, beginning anthesis, sty=60; tl=67, o=38x9, n=6, tu=8(h) x 10.2(w), outer tepal lobes 13x4(base), 1(mid), inner 13x5(base), 1.2(mid), fil ins=9, 10, fil=40, a=13, beginning anthesis, sty=72.
