Habitat:
Locally common in limestone-gravelly, north-facing slope in Pinyon-juniper woodland.
Description:
Corolla throat and limb blue, the tube violet; staminode with straight, spreading yellow hairs; anthers blue-gray; calyx lobes straight; corolla ventricose-ampliate, the throat 2-ridged at the mouth, the upper lip arched back, the lower lip projecting-spreading.
