Description: Locally common with large plants, this plant suckering, with 11 plants, flowering stalk 6-7 m tall, inflorescence with 21 laterals, these ascending-perpendicular, 105 mm in diameter, ovary, neck green, tube greenish-yellow, tepal lobes yellow becoming darker towards tips, filaments yellow-light green, anthers yellow, style yellow-light green; measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm: tl=68, o=28.5x9, n=7, tu=12(h) x 15.5(w) mm, outer tep=18.5(l) x 7.2(base), 2(mid), inner tep=18 x 7(base), 2.2(mid), fil ins=9, 10, fil=48, a=10, sty=70, during anthesis; lobes erect, not much clasping, but tips incurved; with pollen.
