Habitat: Sonoran Desert. Lower Colorado River Valley Subdivision. Creosote-Bursage association.
Substrate: Gently-sloped northwest-facing sandy ridge with light gravel mantle.
Associated Species: Ambrosia dumosa, Larrea tridentata, Psorothamnus emoryi, Hilaria rigida, Atriplex polycarpa, Geraea canescens, Krameria bicolor.
Description: Population of 30-50 plants; annual grass 6-8 cm high and 4-6 cm wide. 95% flowering, near maturity.
Notes: Mediterranean Grass.
