Locality: United States, Arkansas, Saline, West Gulf Coastal Plain. Dry Lost Creek Preserve (owned and managed by The Nature Conservancy). Vicinity of N 34.53057, W 92.50431. Benton 7.5' quadrangle.
Habitat: Nepheline syenite (igneous) batholith. Scattered in open igneous glades and adjacent thin-soiled woodland. Some plants exceeding 60 cm in height. Largest specimens I've ever seen of this species. Plants annual.
