Habitat: Sonoran Desert. Lower Colorado River Valley Subdivision.
Substrate: Rocky/gravelly wash complex with braided channels. Wash drains Gila Mountains composed of metamorphic rock.
Associated Species: Olneya tesota, Acacia greggii, Larrea tridentata, Encelia farinosa, Lycium sp., Parkinsonia microphylla, Brandegea bigelovii, Krameria bicolor, Marina parryi, Boerhavia sp., Bouteloua aristidoides (dried skeleton).
Description: Annual herb, growing in summer - plant cured and dry.
