Habitat: Local. Decumbent, taprooted herb; 3dm long. Corolla white. Community: Eastern Mesic Longleaf Pine Flatwoods/Eastern Wet Longleaf Pine Flatwood Savannah. Topography: level with drainages. Substrate: silty loam to sandy loam. Associates: Pinus elliottii, Triadica sebifera, Helenium amarum, Vaccinium, Ilex, Carex spp.
