Locality: USA, Utah, Sevier, BLM, Hwy 24 S to Koosharem Reservoir, watch for mile post #28, turn on jeep trail on West before mile post 28. Go through gate, travel W on jeep trail 0.7 mi, site to left adjacent to road.

Habitat: Grazed mountain brush/ridge top, Sevier Plateau system. W aspect, 4° slope.
Substrate: Brown (7.5 YR 4/2) colored clay/loam soils.
Associated Species: Abies concolor, Quercus gambelii, Amelanchier utahensis, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Purshia tridentata, Juniperus scopulorum, Achnatherum hymenoides, Lupinus argenteus, Erigeron sp., Potentilla sp., Poa fendleriana.
Description: Plants about 300 on 6 A; 2 feet tall.
Reproductive Condition: fruit bearing
Notes: Seed collected from 200 plants; to be used for general research, genetic studies, long-term storage & site rehab. 'Squirreltail.' Voucher for: Seeds of Success program.
