Locality: United States, Illinois, Cook, Palos Park Woods, Palos Park. 119th St. between 86th Ave and Kean Ave. Collected at base of white oak in picnic grove afew feet from NE corner of parking area. Probably growing from spilled seeds
Habitat: Depauperate, weedy community in a high-use area. Poor soil and frequent trampling. White oak opening in oak-hickory woodland
Associated Species: Quercus alba, Plantago major, Veronica serpyllifolia, Polygonum cespitosum longisetum, Viola sp., Atriplex patula, Taraxacum officinale, Poa annua
