Small tree, to 2.5-3.0 m, with rounded habit and long, pendulous branches; 8-10 cm DBH. Trunk reddish to brown with small gray blocks. Branches olive; twigs carmine, glaucous. Phyllodes gray-green (quite glaucous when young). Flowers globose, pale yellow, borne on short, few- flowered racemes. Loment pendulous.
