Habitat: In sandy soil near Acacia greggi and Encelia farinosa. Found in dry wash area 10 feet west of the road.
Notes: Herb with white flowers. The phyllaries are lanceolate with an acute tip / Pappus of the outer flowers number four, are rounded, and approximately 1/3 the length of the corolla.
