Habitat: 1-5 degree slope, sandy soil, exposed. Community vegetation includes Bromus diandrus, Avena fatua, Quercus agrifolia var. agrifolia, Brassica nigra, and Rhamnus crocea.
Notes: Large Shrub, 15 ft tall. Leaves light green, corollas white sometimes with yellowish tinge, fruit green. Younger stems light green, older stems brown.
