Description: ONE PRESSED FLOWER STEM MOUNTED WITH LEAVES, FLOWERS, AND SEEDS. ORIGINALLY IDENTIFIED BY JONES AS PENSTEMON SPECTABILIS THURB., 5 JUL 1939. SOIL TYPE: COARSE, DEEP CINDER. CATALOG AND ACCESSION NUMBER CHANGED FROM WUPA TO SUCR IN 06/2011.
Notes: PLANT SPECIMEN IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH A PORTION OF THE MIDDLE STEM BROKEN. TEMPORARY SCRAP LABEL TESTS ACIDIC AND MOUNTING PAPER TESTS BETWEEN 6.0 AND 6.8 WITH PH TESTING PEN.
