Crumbling off page. Uncommon native perennial, height up to 12 ft., transition zone, rocky soil. Hopi usage - firewood, fences, construction, tools, torches from the bark , a decoction of the leaves is taken by a pregnant woman who wants a girl, before and after the birth of a child juniper tea is drunk, and a bath in which juniper has been soaked is used.
