Description: perennial forb; main stem ca. 62 cm tall, green, glabrous, striate, hollow; leaves alternate; leaf petioles with clasping sheaths at point of attachment to main stem; petioles ca. 15 cm long proximally, becoming shorter distally; leaf blades bipinnate, segments pinnatifid, tringular, blade to ca. 20 cm long x 10 cm wide; inflorescence terminal and upper axillary compound umbels; involucre absent, involucels with several linear bractlets; calyx fused, green; corolla five white petals, tip reflexed; stamens 0-5; ovaries a compressed, glabrous, stylopodium; fruit not observed
