Elevation: 1098 meters (3601ft)
Habitat: Relatively gentle ridgetop w/ deep, friable adobe soil, southerly slopes gravelly, grading into very barren areas of dark, highly weathered volcanic substrate w/ very thin soil. Ridgetop & more mesic exposures w/ open woodland of Quercus douglasii & Juniperus californica, xeric slopes more open w/ scattered Juniperus, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Ribes quercetorum, & Penstemon centranthifolius.
Notes: Delicate annual, fls. very small, pale pink or white. Local in semi-shade of old Juniperus californica on xeric slope.
