Habitat: Pinus edulis- Juniperus osteosperma pygmy forest; in deep sand with Arctostaphylos patula, Pediocactus simpsonii, Penstemon lentus var. albiflorus, Cymnopterus purpureus, Cryptanthat bakeri, Pedicularis centranthera; Moencopi formation.
Description: Diffusely branched, stems ascending from stout, woddy taproot; flowers ochroleucus to pale lavender, tiny; pods unilocular; occasional locally.
