Description: Local, occasional, single, flower stalk 4.5-5 m, inflorescence with 14 branches, 7th lateral with collected flowers, 2nd with fruits, pedicels long, bracts from 4 feet up stalk; ovary, tube, neck light green, tepal lobes yellow, becoming darker towards apices, filaments light yellow-green, anthers yellow, style light yellow-green; flower measurements after Gentry (1982), during anthesis, in mm, tl=42, o=31x6, curved, n=5.5, tu=7x9, fil ins=4, fil=45, a=14, outer tepal 13.5x5(base), 3(mid), inner tepal 13x4, both erect-ascending, sty=40.
