Locality: USA, California, San Bernardino, Central Mojave Desert; Ord Mountains, south of Tyler Valley, above gas line road extension of Harrod Rd. from south/ Ord Mtn. Rd from the north, west slope of hill 4835 (Grand View Mine 7.5' Q).

Elevation: 1220-1433 meters Verbatim Elevation: 4000 - 4700 - ft.
Habitat: Steep rocky slopes with granite boulders, coarse decomposed granite soil; upland desert scrub.
Associated Species: Salazaria, Ephedra viridis, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Stipa speciosa, etc.
Description: Scarce on dry slopes, but locally common along wash in rock bowl at 16”N, 10”W, elev. 4600 ft. Widely scattered in area.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering & Fruiting
Notes: Data Sheet says lat/long +/- 1000m.
