Habitat: Weedy margin of heavily traveled causeway.
Associated Species: Prosopis glandulosa, Tamarix sp., Bebbia juncea var. aspera, Encelia farinosa, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Salsola tragus, Malva parviflora, Chenopodiastrum murale, Cenchrus ciliaris, Sorghum halepense, Chloris barbata, Avena fatua, Triticum aestivum.
Description: Robust annual forb, locally common, 50 cm to 1 m tall; stems bristly at base; lower leaves pinnately lobed, upper leaves becoming entire; flowers bright yellow; fruits erect-appressed.
Notes: Duplicates to ARIZ, USON.
