Locality: USA, Arizona, Santa Cruz, Las Cienegas National Conservation Area; southern end of site, about 700m northwest from of Hwy 82, and about 200m east of Yucca Farm Rd., located just 200m south of the old wooden corral.

Habitat: Semi-desert grassland foothills, among the alluvial hills which run along the east side of Yucca Farm Rd, hills are dominated by bunch-grasses, some sparse Prosopis juliflora encroaching the hillsides and Agave palmeri interspersed throughout,
Associated Species: Xanthisma gracile, Crotalaria pumila, Eragrostis intermedia, Portulaca suffrutescens, Bouteloua barbata var. rothrockii, Aristida adscensionis, Prosopis juliflora, Commelina dianthifolia, Sporobolus wrightii, Prosopis juliflora, Heliomeris multiflora
