Habitat: Rocky slope above broad canyon; scrub grassland.
Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Sarcomphalus obtusifolius, Lycium exsertum, Ferocactus wislizeni, Isocoma tenuisecta, Nissolia schottii, Condalia correllii, Atriplex canescens, Fouquieria splendens, Aloysia wrightii, Celtis pallida, Anisacanthus thurberi, Marah gilensis, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Bouteloua curtipendula, Poa bigelovii.
Description: Annual forb; leaves spotted with red; flowers cream, stigma red.
