Habitat: Seasonally-wet swale in high-quality complex of unplowed tallgrass prairie, saline barrens, & oak savanna. Former bombing range. Restricted access. Excellent site with many rare species. Frequently burned.
Associated Species: Growing with Carex opaca, C. oklahomensis, Eleocharis wolfii, E. tenuis verrucosa, Juncus spp., Steinchisma hians, Panicum rigidulum, etc.
Description: Plants cespitose.
Reproductive Condition: fruit

Notes: Scattered in wet prairie.
