Locality: United States, Arkansas, Benton, Ozark Highlands. Springfield Plateau Ecoregion. USGS Bentonville South 7.5' Quad. Bentonville. 480 ft. SE of intersection of SW 14th St. and SW I St., N of creek/wetland. This site retains a number of low prairie elements and is under consideration to be some sort of hybrid conservation/recreation area.

Habitat: Degraded wet prairie with good wetland plant diversity.
Associated Species: Growing with Carex aggregata, C. annectens, C. opaca, Juncus anthelatus, J. brachycarpus, Andropogon virginicus, Eleocharis erythropoda, Dichanthelium dichotomum, D. scoparium, Diospyros virginiana, Ulmus americana, & Fraxinus pennsylvanica.
Reproductive Condition: fruit
Preparations: Herbarium Sheet 1 of 1.
Notes: 50-70 clumps in wide, wet swale with a few scattered trees.
