Locality: United States, Colorado, Douglas, 6.1 driving miles west of the intersection of S. Perry Park Road (County Road 105) and Dakan Road in Sedalia, Colorado; approximately 4.75 air miles northwest of Perry Park, Colorado; main structure on landowner's private property.

Elevation: 2233 meters (7324ft)
Habitat: Perennial spring with overstory of Douglas fir and shrub layer of Rocky Mountain maple, hazelnut, and Gambel's oak; understory of various grasses and sedges. Upland slopes adjacent to spring E- and W-facing.. Parts of spring margins thinned by landowners. Landowners actively engaged in forest thinning according to Forest Service best practices.
Substrate: Gravelly/pebbly soils often overlain by plant litter. Occurs within the Pike's Peak Batholith
Associated Species: Rubus idaeus; Rosa sp.; Viola canadensis
Description: 8-12" tall, rhizomatous
Reproductive Condition: fruit
Notes: Douglas County Private Property Botanical Survey. Speceis frequency at site: Common to abundant. Tissue sample collected.
