Description:
Flowers collected mid-afternoon, diamter 66-69 mm, length 67-70 mm, base of outer perianth cream and covered with soft, wooly glochids, outer perianth light pink with very wide greenish-red midstripe, inner perianth light magenta, deepening to almost red; stigma lobe number 7-8, color salmon; stem color gray-green; spines gray with darker tips; rib count 8.
