Habitat: River floodplain in mountainous pine oak woodland.
Substrate: Stony soil.
Associated Species: Platanus wrightii, Hymenoclea monogyra, Opuntia robusta, Cupressus arizonica, Mimosa aculeaticarpa.
Description: 0.3 meter tall, open, ascending to erect herb.
