Locality: Mexico, Sonora, NĂ¡cori Chico, Eastern floodplain of the Rio Bavispe, 0.5 mile south of Rio Bavispe Bridge, which is along road just east of Rancho Tres Rios, 12 miles (road), 5.93 miles (9.55 km) (air) north of Mesa Tres Rios.

Habitat: River floodplain in mountainous pine oak woodland.
Substrate: Stony soil.
Associated Species: Platanus wrightii, Hymenoclea monogyra, Opuntia robusta, Cupressus arizonica, Mimosa aculeaticarpa.
Description: Prostrate to decumbent mat-like herb to 2.5 dm across. Leaves serrated only at tip, most with redish center.
