Description: Flowers in globose heads, curved, ovary not angled, ovary, neck light chartreuse, tube yellow-chartreuse, tepals, filaments, style light yellow-cream, tepals flaring, 18 mm across, anthers yellow; measurements after Gentry (1982), in mm, during anthesis: tl=50, o=23.5 x 6.75, n=6.5, tu=4x13, tep=16x5, 16x4.5, fil ins=1.75, 2, fil=44, a=10, sty=53.
