Habitat: Semi-desert Grassland, on edge of basaltic-bouldery ledge over-looking Agua Fria River. Soils bare and light-colored in this local area.

Description: Spent perennial/annual grass, slightly scattered locally on edge of ledge. Depauperate specimen, due to season -- some existing fruits, not many. Digital scan made post-collection. Fruit scanned at 4800 dpi and printed to 2.5'' high.
